On my movie watch list - The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist is a deeply personal documentary that explores the existential crossroads of artificial intelligence. The film is framed through Roher’s own journey into fatherhood; as he prepares to welcome his first child, he is gripped by "AI insanity" and the dire warnings that the technology could either save or end humanity. Quite freaked out by AI. I work at a consulting firm where I do various thought leadership activities for the firm's consultants & management. I have seen first hand how AI is killing web design jobs, email marketing, and is getting more intuitive. There are also tools from WPP that are creating B+ standard content for various PR formats. While not perfect - my belief is these tools could eradicate several jobs over the next year or two, to much smaller teams. My q: where do we go from here

Are you using AI to help you in your job search by allowing it to help you revamp your resume to be able to pass through AI / ATS that companies use, filtering jobs on job boards for you with your resume so you are spending less time searching and wondering if you qualify for a role, drafting cover letters / notes to attach to your application (if room is permitted), drafting thank you notes for after the phone screen and/or interview, and drafting follow up letters? AI is nothing but a tool.

I have gone from being a creative director for a midsize agency to essentially being an agency replacement as a single person who has a lot of different skills. And my clients are starting to ask me about artificial intelligence. I use it to some extent, but I am certainly not an expert in it and I recognize that if I’m going to continue to serve clients, I’m going to need to become technically proficient in AI. So my question is where can I get smart on AI very quickly? Any good courses out the

Hi all, hope you're enjoying your weekend, wherever you find yourselves. I am currently applying for corporate or securities paralegal roles and I have encountered a lot of AI-driven type stuff with respect to "Am I qualified" diagnostics based on my resume. How much, if any stock should I put into AI-driven analyses of my qualitfications? I have had a lot of "good match" assessments and a few "fair match" ones. Should I go ahead and apply if I get a "fair match" to the job? Thanks.

Hello All, need some guidance here. Will all this AI and Agentic AI buzz I am confused if I should go ahead and do a course from reputed university or from educational platform like Coursera etc . I have 15 yrs of experience in BA and Product Management. The thing is even if I do courses , how do I endorse myself ?? Companies don’t take you based on Certifications, you don’t even land an interview without actual AI work. Not sure , if something from a reputed university catches their eye.

As a software developer, my core focus has been on AI, I’ve been deeply invested in the field for the past few years. Most of my recent work centers around Agentic AI and multi-agent systems, and I’ve developed several hands-on projects that reflect a strong understanding of these areas. I’m looking to take the next step in my journey, which I feel is me entering the AI field. I'd greatly appreciate any insight on further areas you all think I should develop in, certificates, projects, etc.

Hi folks! Obviously AI is inevitably part of our industry now , and I do want to be levelling up with how it’s used and what I understand. I can’t count on my work for the growth / development so I want to do my own musings… I love learning , SO …any content , courses (free or not free), or other resources you’ve been looking at that’s been helping refine skills (apart from learning by doing?) *based in Canada. Doesn’t need to be AI, just advertising in general !! Happy Holidays!

If you are going to use AI to help you with your cover letter, make sure you read it over and make any changes before you submit the resume and cover letter. I have heard of people not bothering to put in the company name, a salary, etc. and just left when AI had the brackets for you to fill in the information plus I just had someone tell me that they saw where they copied and pasted the whole AI screen they had even AI asking them what steps they wanted AI to take next.

What are the online AI related courses / knowledge hubs you would recommend for senior marketing professionals? My list so far: OpenAI Academy Anthropic Academy (both are solid basic options) Google prompting guide as rock solid structural understanding Last Week in AI for recent tools Julian Cole things Other than the last one neither are ad focused, only OpenAI has a modulore or two. Any tip?
