If you misquote, what are the repercussions? Our team has had a number of quoting errors recently, and leadership updated our commission structure to address it. They’ve added a clause where we’re now liable for 50% of any missed revenue. So, if I underquote by $10K, they deduct $5K from my pay. That feels pretty extreme to me. I understand the need for accountability, but our quoting process is complex and outdated, which makes mistakes more likely. Is this standard practice anywhere else?

I wanted to get people’s perspective on my situation. I’ve been at a growing SaaS company for 2 years and they have been the best earnings years of my career (500k+ through overachieving), naturally, quotas grew from a few hundred thousand to over 900k last quarter, now this half after management knew there was a monster deal about to close I got ramped to 2M effectively making me just hit my number in quota when I had projected at least 200% attainment. What would you do in my situation?

I had a screening call for data analyst role with Everquote..which i felt i did well...and I have another interview with them.. they pretty much said its Behavioral + case study with the hr I wanted to know what they will be asking for a case study...like would be theoretically question or would be something practical involving excel,power bi... if any one had any experience with everquote please help me out..

Has anyone encountered online job applications that require you to state your desired salary (a specific number, not a range, not the word “negotiable”, not leaving it blank)? What is the best way to respond? If you quote the top of their range, which you’re fully qualified to receive, they may think you’re too expensive and look to another candidate. I'm usually pretty good at thinking on my feet, but this one threw me off. I couldn't think of a tree to save my life and ended up saying a tall one...
