Hi everyone, is anyone working for quest diagnostics, I just got hired about 2 months ago. Im having trouble with keeping up with my pts and constantly being told to speed up because we're getting ready behind on appointments, when I do go faster I tend to make mistakes, and get overwhelmed when I get large orders with multiple test. I'm constantly asking questions but feel like a bother to my coworkers. And with all the other things we have to do, I feel like I made a bad decision on here hired

I am a new hospice physician. Their approach to non-malignant pain and agitation in end stage dementia patients appears to occ. favor opioids and benzos for patient “ comfort” over risk of falls. Besides the usual ” behavioral first approach,” I would greatly appreciate seasoned advice as to which specific scenarios should prevail pos or neg 4 adding meds. One example would be patient having increasing falls. Another one is that a CNA has already gotten hurt. What other criteria come 2 mind?

Been an LPN for 6 yrs. I pride myself with patient care and meticulous charting. I had a patient tell the physician that I did not obtain their vitals. I had documented on the appropriate docs that the physician takes into the exam room. I am at a loss. Either the patient is delusional or hallucinating. After being accused of this I took another set of vitals with the physician present and their vitals were identical except for a slight variation in the bp. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Tenants have been reporting high humidity in the home and growing mold on some spots on roof and on few of their things. We have few blown of shingles several times. Can roof leaking cause this humidity and mold issues. Who is the correct professional to hire. One roof inspector recommended entire roof change, but insurance rejected and only identified 30shingles to change. My question is replacing the roof fixes the mold issue or should we hire any other professional to check mold root cause.

      Job Hunting in Tech

I have been working remotely for the same Fintech company for 5 years with combined experience as a DA and IS. I have my BA in Finance. I was hired on at 50,000 and now make 58,000. My company does not have salary transparency, has internal pay jump caps at 10%, and overall allows for no salary growth even with title changes. I’m applying to jobs with the goal to make 85-100k but have had no luck for 2 years. Starting to feel imposter syndrome and am curious if my target salary is realistic?

There’s a point in a lot of tech roles where growth slows, even if performance is solid. I’ve hit moments where nothing was “wrong,” but nothing was stretching me either. In hindsight, that was usually the signal to ask harder questions about scope and trajectory, not just wait it out. How do you tell the difference between a temporary plateau and a sign it’s time to move on and kick off the job search? I’m also wondering if this is a manger issue rather than things I might be doing.

Hello, has anyone worked at or with Sera Systems in Dallas? Historically they paid well and had strong leadership, but recent Glassdoor reviews raise concerns about current leadership toxicity and stability. Reviews mention CEO Matt Barber being largely unavailable, COO Jennifer Hoffman’s leadership approach, and CRO Heather Carr’s unrealistic expectations. This is a big career decision for me, so any firsthand feedback would be appreciated.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else feels like an oddball! I am 46 years old, diagnosed 2 years ago, medicated which does help me focus and be more productive, although it does not suppress my hyper side!. i have a very heavy workload, fast paced professional job, I get a lot done and considered good at it, but I do know many of my colleagues think I’m a bit odd! My boss knows of my diagnosis and is understanding, but I can never shake the feeling my colleagues think I’m just odd!

This is a heads-up I wish I’d received sooner, especially for professional women “of a certain age.” I’ve long been a high performer in executive roles, but during perimenopause I experienced brain fog, fatigue, and difficulty managing tasks that once came easily. After speaking with my doctor, I learned hormonal changes can make unmanaged ADHD harder to navigate. With treatment, I regained focus and clarity. If this resonates, talk with your doctor—you’re not alone.
