      Engineering

Planner FOR Photovoltaic Systems (pv*sol Premium)/revit/autocad
      9mo

After almost 4 years as a solar system designer 🌞 and 2 years as a team leader, I’m finding it challenging to secure a long-term position in the same role, especially one that fully utilizes PV*SOL. I’d love to hear from the community: how would you approach this situation? Where are the best places to look for remote opportunities in solar system design, and do you think it’s worth continuing to search in this field? Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! ⚡

Anyone experienced on Energy Tax Credits? I currently work for a wind/solar developer doing a mixture of project support (credit modeling, PWA, audits etc) + compliance/provision and really enjoy the industry. I’m thinking about pivoting back to public and keep seeing job openings at a few firms. Wondering if anybody can give a perspective on culture, WLB, comp etc on the practices below (or others) Deloitte Gi3, PwC STS (Energy Tax Credits), CLA Renewable Tax Credit Transactions

Energy M&A + Project Development vs. Project Finance: which group would provide better experience / exit opportunities for a career in renewables? Although M&A + Project Dev would provide broad experience covering project acquisitions, divestitures, construction, permitting, and commercial agreements, would not having direct experience on the financing side limit my exit opportunities? (Interested in in-house roles at utility providers / renewables developers / energy & infra funds).

      Job Hunting in Tech

      Solar Installer
      8mo

Hi, Solar is the new renewable thing out there , but since I live in a small town it’s hard to find a job in that same field. I am on unemployment right now but I’m open to suggestions and advice in how I can get back into the oilfield. In the past I was a oilfield roustabout foreman and pipeline foreman. I also worked as an Ironworker structure, rigger. I have many trades in the Construction & industry. I’m not only a team player but I also know that safety comes first in a workplace.

      Federal, Government, and Public Sector

      Senior Manager
      1w

Renewables PM from private sector, recently in the federal contracting space and looking to make a leap in pay. 18 years experience, 11 years of that as environmental engineering PM and senior solar PM. Remote. New to the federal contracting arena. What’s the best way to leverage my pay to make $200k or above? I’m currently salary only with minor bonus each year. Could shift into business development space, go look at roles with large solar developers, or lean into federal. Any advice?
