Anyone else feel like even your go to escapes have lost their magic? I’m craving somewhere that actually lets you breathe. Somewhere quiet, private, and genuinely soul filling no sceney crowds, no pressure. Lately, i enjoyed Comporta, Portugal. The empty dunes, wild beaches, and minimalist villas tucked among pine forests. I stayed at Sublime Comporta and loved waking up to rice paddy sunsets and private sea food feasts under the trees and Lisbon not far away. Where are your reset places?

Looking for a spot in the Philippines where I can spend 3-4 weeks in Feb to write/design in the mornings (wifi is key) and beachy exploration things in the afternoons. I don’t drink and I don’t party. I am solo, but a friend or family member may join for a piece. My budget for accommodations is in the $500-$600 range for the month (this is a multi month trip and the money‘s got to stretch). Happy Monday Glassdoor-ians! I am super bummed today. I was supposed to be traveling for work this week but my team proactively cancelled due to the shut down because they did not want flights impacted by the FAA issues. Well, now flights have returned to normal and we aren't rescheduling any time soon. Looking for recommendations for places to take my laptop for a change of scenery.
