I have mainly been off meds all my life - I went through a trial periods of various medications with a psychiatrist last year. I stopped seeing them because they didn’t listen to me and I had a reaction to the last medication we tried. I’m thinking of resuming my meds journey soon. What have people’s experience been with Strattera in general? I’m open to non stims but it concerns me that it’s not recommended to mix with alcohol. In my 20s and drink socially, so cautious of that aspect vs stims

Looking for advice on best next step for career. 3-4YoE at a T2 strat consultancy, do enjoy the job when it’s in the 50-60h week range. Have no interest in the industries we are best at, and what recruiters are therefore reaching out to me for. Not getting past screening for roles in the industries I am interested in, which in general seem to be going to MBB/boutiques/those with industry experience. Unless I pivot to MBB, I think I’m looking at a pay cut, not sure if that’s the best move.

I was a STNA since 2001, I lost my certification in 2021 cus I didnt work the 8 hours to keep it. So now I am having a time trying to find work. My whole resume is that STNA, so I have worked through a temp agency but not long. I've put 35 applications in on this indeed, and nothing. I have the slightest idea where to go from here. Im really facing depression, cus im homeless, been separated from my spouse for 2 years now, we was married 34 years. Im not use to just depending on myself.

A few words about St. Regis which was a JW Marriott Mauritius. I would like to say that the only one professional seemed to me was an ex-GM Mr.Kaya. I remember how with all respect. Outdated pay ($1,200 total), no injury support despite documents, and chaotic management. Tasks needed constant follow-up. My husband was hired with no interview, shuffled through roles, and HR mishandled his visa. Toxic work culture and dishonest practices. Avoid if you value professionalism.

Strat vs. Creative: Is it ever possible to have a career in both? How did you choose if you were flirting with both routes? Have spent 5 years at small agencies doing both, on a path to become ACD at my current big hold-co agency but am interviewing for several Senior Strat roles as well. Feels like I’m at a fork in my career and need to choose.

Does anyone have insights on the STAAT team at UBS? I’m currently in the interview process with them. The hiring manager mentioned they’re working on upgrading a legacy trading platform (possibly mainframes?) to a modern tech stack. It sounds like a promising opportunity, but I’d really appreciate any additional context or experiences anyone might be able to share.
