𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 I’ve been spending time with BCG’s Retail Banking Report, and Exhibit 7 — the Agentic AI Staircase — is the clearest framework I’ve seen for understanding where banks actually sit today and what AI-first banking really means. Anyone re-evaluate top-tier credit cards lately? I’ve had the Chase Sapphire Reserve for 9 years and am getting fed up. Just spent 90 mins on the phone with them for a simple flight change they wouldn’t let me make online. Their new earnings table incentivizes bookings through their site, which is why I’ve put up with it. I also don’t have time to track whether I’m maximizing my benefits. Wondering if there’s a better card out there for me. Any CSR refugees want to share their experience?

      Career Advice for Students

I am starting next week as a RB1 first time working at Regions Bank. I need advice on making it count and having a great experience so i can build a career in this industry. I am very excited but also nervous because I have read a lot of negativities about working as a teller. Is it as bad as they say? I have handled all kinds of people in my opinion, starting from fast food, retail, furniture industries. As well as toxic environments. Any advice would help, thank you!

I recently got married, and we are planning to combine finances fully. We are not well off by any means, but we still do our best to save what we can.I bank with wells Fargo and he banks with Chase. Would like some suggestions on where we should open a new account together. In GA for reference. A little nervous about potentially doing online banking that doesn't have a physical branch but some seem to have great interest in savings accounts.

Welcome to the new edition of the Fintech Wrap Up! This week showed how scale still matters, but only when backed by strong infrastructure. Bank of America’s consumer bank generates over 41 billion dollars in revenue and 10.8 billion dollars in profit, yet retail banking continues to miss on personalisation despite high customer expectations. https://open.substack.com/pub/samboboev/p/coinbases-strategy-map-baas-vs-embedded?utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web

Anybody have a bank that they like? Recently married and looking to make a new joint account for joint expenses & bills (pls don't give me advice about that it's happening). Also need to finally break up with Bank of America because... well basically everything about that company. Who do you use and why do you recommend them? Heard good things about Ally, a good choice? Anyone use the banking offerings from Fidelity/SoFi/Wealthfront?

I currently work in the manufacturing industry and I’m working on updating our attendance/PTO policy. Would anybody be willing to share their policy or general bullet points of their policy? We are trying to align across multiple states including New York so we need this to take the paid sick time into consideration and are debating on one PTO bank for everything versus a separate sick bank. Would appreciate any input or thoughts!

Don't forget about churning bank accounts! Wells Fargo business checking has a pretty easy one for $400/$825 for $2.5k/25k held for 30 days; no DD needed. Also Cit bank has $100 for adding $2.5k. Nearby credit unions often have something as well. Great way to earn some "beer money" and potentially another spot for your MOs if you're into MS.

How’s everyone else in structured finance doing? On Friday I got 2 new OMs for inaugural ABS and an initial draft of a CLO loan agreement for a truly bespoke facility, on top of another dozen deals closing before year end. This is easily going to be my highest billing year, and the first half of next year seems a bit mad

Anyone heard of City National Bank? Got approach by them for a CXO-1 position, wondering if worth considering as a good exit? More context, early discussion indicates a MBB Associate Partner target comp, with certain level of budget assigned and task to build an internal strategy team.
