I'm a trim carpenter if 8 years and I have been recently trying to break into the automotive industry. Out of highschool I took votech classes for auto 1 and 2 and graduated with two ase student certs. I also have spent a year in Orlando Florida at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute although I was unable to finish due to financial troubles. I am currently having no luck at even landing entry level positions. I have most of the basic tools. Any techs out there have some tips? Any help appreciated.

Hey all, I’m currently looking for a job in the Mesa, AZ area as an automotive technician, preferably as a c tech or maybe a b tech.
