In need of some advice. I have 15 years of experience within Talent Acquisition. I took off 5 years after a layoff to be a SAHM. I have been trying to get back into Talent Acquisition for the past 10 months with no luck. I understand this is a terrible job market but the constant rejection is forcing me to look outside of my prior experience. Has anyone transitioned from TA into a different role and have advice? I would love to stay in HR but open to other areas. Thank you in advance.

What does an invite by talent acquisition to apply for a specific role by EY-Parthenon mean? I've been sent an invite to apply for a manager role within deal and tech team. This comes after a rejection for another manager role last week in the deal strat execution team. Essentially, is this more of a vacancy ad being tossed out, or a targeted outreach specific to my profile that I should interpret as the firm's interest in me for a role other than that I'd initially applied for?

When I do receive interview requests it seems as though hiring teams already have a candidate in mind and are just conducting interviews. I retired after 30 years in Human Resources. I am seeking employment in HR as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR Coordinator, Generalist, etc. I have an Associate's Degree. I have applied for over 50 positions but have only had 2 phone interviews. Any advice for someone not ready to hang up her hat just yet in HR/Talent Acquisition? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We haven't been able to find the best talent lately. And I hear conversations between dept heads and managers about it. Part of me thinks I should approach the department heads, acknowledge I overheard the conversation, and ask them to clarify or share their concerns directly with me. I'm not here to be part of any drama, I want to work towards finding solutions for the problems. What would you do?
