Hey fishes, I have a friend currently in dire need of guidance. He has been looking for a job and has landed an interview for technical solutions engineer at google. From the looks of job description it looks like semi-tech or support role but they have asked for a coding round. Q1- coding will be LC medium or practical script like parse JSON. Q2 - can the first round include system design. Q3 - It seems to be a entry level/early career opportunity but not sure how much Networking/DB he can prep @

      Process Technician
      5mo

Hello, this is my first post. Im having trouble finding what I want to pursue. My current role is a process technician working out of our quality department. Our maintenance team comes to me when there is an issue with our equipment and i am able to diagnose the issue for them. I also help them repair equipment as well as replace parts. I have strong electrical, and mechanical knowledge. But I seem to have trouble landing a maintenance position. I can do the work, I just need the opportunity.

      Engineering

      Controls Technician
      7mo

Hey I’m looking to land another controls position in automation. I used to do intermediate level PLC programming and troubleshooting at my previous employers until personal life circumstances changed. I have been a multi-craft/automation mechanic for 10 years and have a 2 year degree in computer engineering. This field is my passion as it actually stretches me to grow faster than maintenance tech jobs. Any tips on skillsets and certifications to be considered for a controls engineer/tech?

I want to share my experience working for a toxic company called aria intelligent solutions. They claim to be based in UK but hire employees from India. Underpay them and make them work 14 to 15 hours per day. The CAIO is not able to bring any projects and gets work from his wifes company. We are asked to work on 3 to 4 projects at one time and purposely slow down on deliverables so that project keeps extending. My mental health is gone and the team is built on toxic culture and fear

Working in erstwhile Dunn Solutions which has now merged with Kaar technologies Inc has been an incredibly enlightening experience. From starting as a simple PowerBI data analyst, I have had the opportunity to work on multiple technology stacks such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, FiveTran and more. I have also worked in AI as well, since the nature of consulting enables us to be hands on with all the latest technologies. Look forward to many more learning experiences.

Chemist with Mining Edge From the lab bench to the leach pads, I’ve built my career on turning data into decisions. I thrive where science meets industry: troubleshooting instruments, crunching numbers in Excel or Power BI, and keeping OHS standards front and center. Now I’m looking to apply this blend of scientific rigor and operational know‑how in mining engineering, metallurgy, or process optimization roles — helping teams drive efficiency, safety, and innovation

      Job Hunting in Tech

      ASE Certified Automotive Technician

Working on a short project designing and developing a CNC Router/Milling Machine to do automotive wheel rims repair. Designed the mechanical hardware using extruded aluminum, worm gears and stepper motors. That was it for the actual machine hard part. Then developed the electronics proof of concept using Arduino and 4 stepper motor drivers for a 3 axis CNC Mill/Router. After wards, I continued to developing the PCB for a final commercial product.

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking to hire experienced Appliance Repair Technicians and wanted to reach out to this community for some insight. If anyone has advice on the best places to find qualified technicians, effective hiring strategies, or recommendations for recruiting in this field, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts. Also, if you happen to know any skilled techs who might be looking for new opportunities, referrals are always welcome!
