      Job Openings

      Software Project Lead
      7mo

Hi. I just finished my masters degree recently here and have been looking for an IT job for over a month now and I can't even get the first phone call. I worked in Singapore previously so I don't have local experience except for my technical support volunteer work in our church and working part-time in a fastfood chain when I was studying. I feel really upset and down because I do know that I have decent IT knowledge and experience at least. Also keen to volunteer IT work to get local experience

Greetings to All! This is Teacher Ed. I come from a mixed heritage (half-Iranian and half-Indian). I hold an Indian passport and a Bachelor's degree in Homeopathy as well as a Diploma in Pharmacy. I possess a 120 hours in-class TESOL certificate from The American TESOL Institute. My love of linguistics created a vacuum and a turning point landing me in Thailand kick-starting my career as an English / Science school teacher and IELTS / TOEIC tutor six years ago. Teaching is my life's mission.

Question. So I’m trying to transition into the IT field and I don’t have a degree, no experience in IT, no bootcamp or anything. I am currently doing that google IT course certification but I’m not sure how much credit in the job industry that will give me. Granted, I am a big tech guy so I’m not a toddler when it comes to IT in general. I’m the guy my friends and family call to fix their stuff all the time. Is there a way to prove that on a resume for an entry level Help Desk position?

      IT Support Level III
      10mo

I've been in IT for 20+ years and I currently work as level three IT Support for a independent UK based Cyber Security / Penetration Testing Company but it's become a rather unpleasant place to work so I'm looking for another opportunity. I don't have any qualifications in the IT field. I began looking at qualifications I could get to prove my knowledge and found CompTIA A+. I get the impression CompTIA is very US centric. Would gaining that qualifications help me get another job in the UK?

I have been an instructor on the postsecondary level for more than a decade, but I am not an academic. I come out of Work World and bring a wealth of career experience in my field IRL. I have what has been termed a "portfolio master's," with in-depth knowledge over that full career. I do not have an academic master's degree. Two universities and two community colleges have hired me without the advanced degree. I have relocated and seek to add a fifth institution of higher learning to my CV.

I am a Senior at Daphne Hig School. I have upheld a 3.6 GPA and was an International Baccaleureate (IB) program uo until this year. My strong suits are math and science but I am also very strong in other subjects. The IB program has stregthed my skills in studying and how to better understand subjects. I have helped many classmates and also numerous teamates with their work and studying. I am very patient and will be more than willing to communicate until a better understanding is achieved.

ADVICE I am an IT graduate currently working as an administration officer for more than 2 years at NSW Health with IT bootcamp & IT intern experience. In my resume I have included all the experience that I have gained over the years like my internship, administration, hospitably and sales experience, and I wrote my CV & cover letter myself. I want to be authentic and don't want to lie when I am applying. But it is getting hard for me to even land an interview. Help!

Hello everyone, I am an early-career graduate looking for opportunities in the IT industry. As I am new to this country, I am still building my professional network, and the job search has been difficult. If anyone could offer guidance, share advice, or point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful. I am trying my best but have not been able to figure out what mistakes I may be making in my applications or approach. Any help would mean a lot. Thank you.

Hello, I’m Daniel Catone, seeking entry-level IT roles (remote or onsite). I completed a 14-week program with Merit America, earning the Google IT Support Certificate and four others. I’ve gained strong foundational skills in troubleshooting and support and am eager to grow in the tech field. While I’ve had a few interviews, I’m still looking for an opportunity to prove myself and build a long-term career. Any leads or advice would be greatly appreciated!
