Anyone else think it might be cool if there was a public/shared space in the office with monitors you could plug into / use for change of scenery and maybe interact with different people? Especially if it were in an open area with natural light (interior offices at my firm get almost no natural light and it’d be nice to sit by a window and is one reason I like working from home). I know firms have spaces where you can sit but how many people are working off their laptop with no monitors

Has anyone done a prescreen with Oracle? I was invited to prescreen via zoom with a senior recruiter; however they asked me to take a picture for a “digital badge” and I’ve never seen a request like that before. Is this normal? I’m a bit wary of scams, so just wanted to see if anyone had done this. It’s also a video prescreen, which I’m not used to. I’ve almost always done recruiter screens just over the phone.

It’s such a weird feeling walking around the office sometimes. Like just going to grab coffee feels too visible. Not a big deal, just oddly self-aware in those moments. Do you ever feel weirdly on display for doing totally normal things at work? Is this a side effect of being remote for too long?

What a cool window display at Citi which shows the sponsorships throughout the city, including CitiField and Citibikes. Both are iconic in New York and illustrates the roots Citi has here. Is this more effective than a normal window display with the benefits of the bank?
