Anyone here with Deloitte M&A Analytics? I’d love to learn more about the team: culture, projects, clients, etc. From what I understand, it’s your typical transaction analytics group focusing on things like ARR, churn, retention, price-volume analysis, etc and working closely with FDD team? Curious what the tech stack looks like — are you mainly using Alteryx, Tableau/Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, or something else?

Thinking about a career in analytics? There are many options today. You can learn on your own or attend a school. After that, try an internship or assistant position to gain experience. You can also earn certificates and find a mentor. Important skills include logic, communication, research, and activity. It may be challenging at first, even to pass an interview, but don't give up - your efforts will pay off.

I’m pursuing my B.S. in Data Analytics at SNHU (graduating next year) after a career change. I’ve learned SQL, Excel, Tableau, Agile, and even completed a nonprofit internship, though it wasn’t fully analytics. I’ve applied to many internships, tailoring my résumé, but keep hearing “others have more experience.” How do you break into data analytics when you need experience to get experience? Any advice is welcome!

In prepping for an interview for an internal role change. I would be taking over our DTC business. Our recruiter said the one of the topics the new a VP will want to focus on is data analytics. I’m prepping for DTC metrics like CAC, LTV, basket size and conversion rates, but I’m concerned I’ll get some broader analytics questions. Are there any KPIs and frameworks I should be ready to discuss?

What suggestions do you have for someone looking to get into the data analytics field? I have been doing lots of trainings on sql, tableau, excel, and a little bit of python. I plan to make a portfolio over the next month or so and start applying towards the beginning of the year. What positions should I look for?
