What are your best exercise hacks at work? I’m a mum of 2 young kids, I prioritize sleep in the mornings and after work, I’m too tired after kids sleep. I’m looking for your best exercise hacks to get in some strength training or cardio while at work. There’s no gym in my building. I park on the lowest floor and walk 4 flights of stairs every day to get to the garage top level. I have a standing desk and so I often walk in place. I use stairs when going for meetings close by. What else can I do?

Has anyone heard, "Work Wife?" Generally I find that offensive but also how most full time employees spend more time with their co-workers than they do their families. I'm sitting here unemployed and imagining this giant nasty divorce from some rejected x-work wife where she's trying to ruin my life so she can take over my house and items of value. Far Fetched? Does anyone have any thoughts here. I'd just like to get my stuff back, keep my house, and hopefully not scare the "kids" too much.

My partner has ADHD and has been off the meds for about year (when adderall became hard to get). I’ve only dated him off the meds, and I’m wondering if his inability to do much on a workday outside of work is due to ADHD or general priorities. He gets home tired at 7 and either falls asleep or lounges - says he wants to go to gym / run errands / apply to jobs but doesn’t. However if he has social plans he does have energy for that. Wondering if he’d be different on the meds 😅

Update for those who saw my previous post about a sick spouse/work from home. I requested to work from our hospital ICU where my spouse is currently & was told no. I am going to file for FMLA to protect my job. I have a dr who is putting together a letter to send to HR arguing for me to be able to work from the ICU. I told my boss I was going to reach out to my appts for this week to cancel them & she told me not to bc I am not working. I asked her to do it for me then & she did not.

My BS is extremely high but my doctor doesnt want to put me on metformin yet (it helps keep you young btw) but I have stubborn weight gain that exercise wont budge due to depression from work place retaliation. Although I'm only 15 pounds overwieght, I want to try ozempic for prevention. I can't seem to convince my doctor that I need it. My entire family has diabetes so I am the last one to get it. Is there a medical justification for why my doctor won't start me on medication?

ExxonMobil I've received a verbal offer for a corporate role at Exxon and I am wondering what the drug test policy is? Specifically if they hair test, no issues passing urine. I was in California recently and smoked a few times with a friend so I'd likely fail. But I am unsure if hair tests are standard for corporate roles (the woodlands HQ) or if they're primarily for operations, safety and field work. Any advice would be great!!

How do I tell my employer I no longer want to work from home? I thought it would be great. I’ve been doing this for a year. I run reports, set up appointments etc. I do meet all expectations, no distractions, etc. I noticed something, I’m depressed. I shower 3x -4x a week. Yeah, it’s bad. I miss the office energy.

Hello everyone, I work for Deloitte in my last day is on Tuesday. Does anyone hear having any experience with this company in this situation? I haven’t had luck reaching Texas unemployment yet and it’s after hours now. But does anyone have any experience with this? My wonder is if I’m eligible for unemployment since I wasn’t technically fired. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

So I recently started taking ADHD meds for the first time and i think it has been helping at work. It's so weird to have your brain quiet I was literally like "Is this what normal people feel like??" But I still really struggle staying on task. For anyone out there with similar struggles what are the things that help you most at work?
