Hey everyone, need some advice regarding consulting with a background in software engineering. I just got an offer from Slalom for 130k, which is 30% more than I make right now. I am currently a software engineer at one of the Big 3 automotive companies, and am remote. The Slalom role is also fully remote but I've never done anything consulting related. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews regarding this company so I'm not really sure if I should take the offer. The salary bump does look attractive

No disrespect to them who got selected but i also do good motion stuff. want to know from experts.

Need help choosing a g-shock - soon i will start with the first destination of our world trip and i wanted to wear my JLC Amox5 Worldtimer. However as some trips will go to poor countries (eg Bhutan, Nepal etc) i thought i better buy sth less expensive. My criteria are lightweight but robust material, no bling and classic shape. If you had to pick one, what is the best mileage program to use when traveling? I know that it is very dependent on hubs but is there a general one that stands out regardless of location in the US/Europe? In my experience I have found United to be very good but I have also heard a lot of problems with them too.
