I have so much gratitude that I self selected compsci as my major somewhat on a whim. I’m a first generation American, my father is a doctor, I didn’t grow up with a ton of vocational exposure, and it wasn’t as accessible last generation. I was originally destined to do something in the health industry (PA, pharmacy, or nurse) but software engineering has surpassed my expectations and allowed for a comfortable life. I’m sure others have non traditional paths and I’d love to hear about them.

Guys I don’t know if this is the right bowl to post this but I’m afraid my mum is in danger of getting brainwashed by a suspicious divination practitioner. The practitioner has an occult symbol on his shirt and he belongs to the type who will manipulate you into giving him your entire life savings. My mum’s obsession with divination started with buying of crystals and now it has become her changing phone numbers and even her name to improve her health and wealth etc.

Hey if anyone knows the process for xAI I would love advice. This isn't related to an interview but more so related to the offer process. I was verbally offered a job but have yet to receive the offer letter from HR. I have attempted to contact the person who gave me the verbal offer but they havent replied I messaged others who interviewed me but they all left me on read and its been 1 month now since the verbal offer. Is it safe to say I didnt get it and I've been ghosted?

A lil self care tonight! Soaking my feet in a hot foot soak with conditioner added for softness. Than going to do the exercises my podiatrist recommended to stretch my plantar fascia. What’s that one expensive habit you refuse to cut, no matter how tight the budget gets? For me, it’s my weekly “treat myself” ritual. A really good coffee or pastry that makes the whole week feel a little lighter. It’s not the most practical expense, but it genuinely keeps me grounded and happy.
