Breaking: SEC dismissed Gemini Earn case With Prejudice-full closure after 100% investor returns. Is this a big win for the Winklevoss twins or what? They returned all investor funds+ settlements and restitution showing transparency is King of Fintech Compliance. Do you agree? Or is there a bigger play happening behind the scenes. Check out my article on Linkedin. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/jasonburr101_breaking-sec-drops-gemini-case-with-prejudice-activity-7420598894369218560-9W4S?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAFbJt4oBTMtQTMfHjXCttytMd6FffseLvsA

Trying to get my foot in the door for cybersecurity. Unfortunately it has been a dead-end, most jobs require x amount of experience, I have an associates degree for criminal justice (prior military/law enforcement). I am in pursuit of my Bachelors' Homeland Security degree, I have knowledge & in cybersec, (ComptiaA+). If there is any guidance on even gaining a response to applications or even a way to gain more credentialing to help landing a job in that field please any guidance is helpful.

Hello, first post on glass door. I am a cybersecurity Student at Ivy Tech Indianapolis Downtown, and a work study for my campus's IT Department. I have my A+ and will be taking my Network+ in about a couple months. Sense I am close to graduation and not many IT support roles are not willing to hire me due to my college schedule, I am working on trying to build myself up to being a more desirable applicant. Does anyone have any advice on what I could do to make finding the first job easier?

I recently finished UMGC with a degree in Computer Networking/Cybersecurity and I've been trying to get into jobs such as SOC Analyst, Network Analyst, etc. I also received a certification in CompTIA Security+ last year, which expires in two years. In addition, I've been trying to keep my skills sharp after graduation so that I can have knowledge during interviews. I'm currently looking for entry-level positions right now and I'm wondering what areas I need to look for within my field.

      IT Support Specialist

I'm a recent graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Cybersecurity and I'm highly motivated to launch my career in the field. I'm currently searching for my first entry-level Security Analyst or Junior Penetration Tester role. During my degree, I developed a strong foundational understanding of network defence, forensics, and vulnerability analysis. My favorite part of my studies was hands-on work with tools like Wireshark, Nmap, and a deep dive into Python scripting for security tasks. @everyone

      Cybersecurity Engineer

The IT is full of people who have no idea how people do the tech. Except of some companies, I am frustrated that 8 out of 10 people who interviewed me had no idea about what cybersecurity is, what we actually do, what does the job require and how to do the interviews. As a cybersecurity engineer, I genuinely believe that some companies deserve to get hacked because of having those people without any idea about the job itself and taking decisions, affecting career and life of others.

I've been a Full Stack Engineer for a while, and was let go early last year. I was able to find a job at a local sme as a system admin / IT support guy to tide me over while I worked on a mid career switch to Cyber Security. I've been on platforms like HTB playing with their labs, and am getting my OSCP. I've tried to find internships/junior roles with no luck. Does anyone know if there are any companies that are open to a mid career switch person into cyber sec?
