Resigned from LTIMindtree in March 2026 with LWD in May. Despite being a top performer for 2 years and consistently receiving 4/4 ratings, my final rating was reduced to 1/4 after resignation, which impacted my variable pay eligibility. Disappointing experience, especially when my managers acknowledged my contributions and performance throughout the year.
Greetings , People with career gaps exceeding one year, how did you manage to get back into IT , please share your experiences to help me in this phase. (4+ yoe) Highly demotivated. 2.8 LPA → 27 LPA. Just signed my first switch. 5 years ago, I joined HCLTech as a Manual Tester. Since then, my journey took me through Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and eventually GenAI. Once I got into GenAI, I started interviewing seriously. There were rejections, lessons, and plenty of learning along the way. Thanks to everyone who trusted me with opportunities beyond testing. A lot of late nights, self-doubt, learning, and growth. Worth it.

I've heard great things about the company culture there. Satisfaction with salaries vary depending on teams but benefits and job security are good.
From what I see, compensation could be better and the experience varies based on your team. But overall, it's a decent company that just has a select number of areas of improvement.
