Does anyone know anything about LoopMe?
I've only ever worked in big traditional creative ad agencies. Got laid off last year, now work in-house. I'm shocked at how much nicer & down-to-earth my current coworkers are. Realizing in retrospect how cliquey & competitive my creative peers were, and how extensively the agency model relies on social hierarchy
It is totally possible that AI is a massive bubble and the only reason agencies say they are adopting AI is because other agencies are saying they are adopting it and they want to say to clients that they are adopting AI. But nobody is really using these tools in any meaningful way.
What’s some good Cannes gossip this year ?
Tell me if I’m being petty or not: I was a senior creative on a team that literally would just straight up run off with my concepts and leave me behind in the dark. Whenever I presented my concepts, I wouldn’t hear back but would later see my deck designs being used for their own personal projects and concepts. As in, I’d make my deck look all cool, slick and edgy — then they’d litterally take the deck design, remove my concepts and later use it for theirselves. Is that okay or a violation?
While I’m sure he’s qualified, a 9 month process interviewing 100+ people for your head of strategy sounds like you’re a nightmare place to work. I want to believe they were respectful of people and let people know right away if they weren’t advancing, but in this industry, that’s too uncommon.
