This may sound weird but hear me out. I have an interview coming up for a role that I have a strong suspicion is not a good fit for me. So I figure this is a good opportunity to try out some things that I’ve never been brave enough to do before. E.g. try to prioritize making personal connection over demonstrating the fit. This job application process is becoming tiring. It takes approximately 30-40mins to tailor(including editing and formatting) CV and cover letter to each job post. After approximately 4 applications, mental fatigue sets in. I am considering using some form of Agentic AI to scan LinkedIn and apply for matching jobs. A scenario where all I will do in the end is just verify and click submit. Has anyone come across anything like this?

Do you keep track of all your applications, or are you submitting too many to count? Any idea what your interview "hit rate" is? I used to track more, but it's impossible to check your status on so many platforms, it doesn't always seem worth it.
