I was called the day before the interview to schedule it. I was on time, but had to wait 15 minutes past the scheduled interview time for it to begin. The interview itself was nothing unusual, but one of the interviewers didn't seem all that friendly. At the end of the interview I was asked to hand write an example email for a hypothetical scenario, which I thought was a bit odd. I heard from them several weeks later and was asked if I was still interested in this job, and was told I was selected for the job. I said thank you, and said yes, but asked what exactly the salary was for the job, since the pay range/band is very broad in the job posting, and I was told they could not tell me that and I would be contacted by HR/ that was up to them once they receive my paperwork. I said thank you, and I need more information from HR about this job and need to know the offered salary before I can say that I am definitely still interested in the job. I have yet to hear from HR, and this was 3 weeks ago. I find this to be extremely unprofessional. Were they to contact me at this point, I do not wish to work there.
