The interview with the owner was closer to an interrogation...she felt borderline suspicious of my desire to work in bridal and left very little room for constructive dialogue. She also made multiple repeated comments about my personality based on my dress and interview decorum, which were not in any way accurate, a fact I tried to correct many times (to no avail). Then followed this up with letting me know that in order to get the job, I would have to "shadow" another employee for their entire 3-5 hour shift while remaining unpaid. To me, that's not a part of the interview, that's unpaid job training and is fully out of touch with real life. Despite this, the other employees seemed lovely and the store is beautiful, constantly stocked with the best of the best.

Question 1
I can't say exactly, since it was less interview questions and more a review of my resume (for an entry-level position, this felt like a lot).
I applied online. I interviewed at Ferré Sposa (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
There is two interviews, One interview with the owner and an interview in shop working for an hour. After I excepted the position there was a lengthy sales training process, as well as learning about the designers they carried in shop, and how to take care of the bride on her special day.
