Atkinson Candy manufactures such sweet treats as peanut-flavored Chick-O-Sticks, Rainbow Sticks, and coconut-caramel Long Boys. Other products include peanut butter bars, mint twists, and peanut brittle, as well as seasonal specialty and sugar-free candies. The company roasts its own peanuts and makes its own peanut butter for use in its candies. Its products are sold through retail outlets worldwide; candy can also be ordered through the company's Web site. Basil Atkinson Sr. and his wife Mabel founded the family-owned company in 1932. The Atkinson family also controls sister company Judson-Atkinson Candies, which it acquired in 1983.
