Shamrock’s newest “employee” dates back to the late Cretaceous period and now resides in the Shamrock Link! Inspired by CEO Bill Ryan’s passion for paleontology, we’ve brought a Tyrannosaurus rex into our space for a limited time. Giving our employees the opportunity to connect with prehistory and spark curiosity, we’re thrilled to offer something new to experience on campus. For Bill, an exhibit like this is exciting because it allows him to share his passion and excitement for dinosaurs with Shamrock employees and their families. Spring is in full swing, and what better way to enjoy it than an evening at the ballpark? This April, Shamrock employees took part in our annual Day at The K outing to watch the Kansas City Royals take on the Baltimore Orioles. This tradition brings together people from all levels of our organization and is a favorite among those working at our Overland Park headquarters. One of Shamrock’s key culture-building events, our people got to enjoy more than just a free ticket to the game. As we close the book on Q1 and look forward to more exciting events and initiatives in Q2, we would like to share some of the top moments from the past few months. Campus Recruitment & Events: Our recruitment team has traveled to universities across the country to connect with students about their future plans and goals. Plus, we recently hosted Kansas State University students in the Menard Family Scholars Program at our headquarters in Overland Park, KS! Valentine’s Day Pop Up: Employees had the opportunity to purchase sweet treats, beautiful bouquets and other items for that special someone. Shamrock Awards: These award winners set the bar for personal success and help to make Shamrock such a rewarding place to work. Office Puppies: What’s the quickest way to put a smile on 1,000+ people’s faces? A surprise puppy playtime at the office thanks to our friends at Wayside Waifs! Ability KC Groundhog Run 2026: Shamrock employees showed up, put in the miles and crushed the annual Ability KC Groundhog Run this year. The Shamrock Family of Brands has officially expanded into Charlotte, North Carolina! This new regional office location was thoughtfully chosen as somewhere that feels like a natural fit for who we are and where we’re headed. Charlotte gives Shamrock the opportunity to grow in a region that is already shaping the future of transportation and logistics. It is a city full of talent and energy, and having a local presence will continue to strengthen our ability to support more customers. This expansion also opens the door for individuals at all stages of their careers, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals, especially those who can bring multilingual skills to our teams and help us better serve our diverse customer base. We will continue to invest in our people and in creating workplaces where collaboration and culture come first. We expect to add over 50 sales roles within the next year, and even more as our presence in Charlotte continues to grow!
