ABOUT CAL-MED AMBULANCE

California Medical Response, Inc. (dba CAL-MED Ambulance) is a minority and U.S. veteran owned company which provides service to the Southern California healthcare community. Although were established in 2009, we have grown by over 50% each year since our inception and expect that growth trend to continue.

Our management staff boasts over 40 years experience in the ambulance industry, with emphasis in non-emergency transport. We offer the residents of Southern California unrivaled customer service along with fast and accurate response times.

CAL-MED’s fleet of vehicles range from our comfortable wheelchair transport vans to our fleet of well maintained ambulances which are always fully stocked and equipped to handle the most complicated transports including; Neonatal Intensive Care Transports (NICU) and nurse staffed Critical Care Transports (CCT).

The CAL-MED dispatch center is always staffed and available around the clock. Our professional and courteous dispatchers are ready to assist callers with pre-scheduled or immediate requests for service for both wheelchair van or ambulance services. We utilize the latest technology available to accurately track and support our ambulances in the field allowing us to provide service faster and more efficiently.

Our staff of caring and compassionate EMTs, Paaramedics, Registered Nurses, and Respiratory Therapists are all experienced medical professionals. In addition to the individual requirements for their respective licenses, our EMT’s and Paramedic's undergo an additional 40+ hours of company specific training with emphasis on both patient care as well as client satisfaction.
