It's all coming out fine for Camfin. The holding company invests primarily in the automotive, real estate, and energy and environment sectors. The group owns more than 25% of Italian tire giant Pirelli and holds Cam Partecipazioni, which manages the company's equity investments. In 2011 Camfin sold its 49% stake in Pirelli & C. Ambiente (environmental services) and Pirelli & C. Eco Technology (filters and eco-friendly fuel) to Pirelli. Camfin's Fondo Vivaldi joint venture manages more than 100,000 square meters of properties in Rho and Pero, Italy. Marco Tronchetti Provera chairs both Pirelli and Camfin, which his family controls.
