Fox Subacute was the first skilled nursing facility in the country to convert traditional nursing homes to sophisticated, subacute patient care facilities. Our facilities are conveniently located in Mechanicsburg, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and are licensed by the PA Department of Health.

At Fox Subacute, we service the medically complex post-acute patient including but not limited to the following services: pulmonary care, progressive ventilator weaning, rehabilitation, wound care, dialysis, neuro-sensory stimulation, and the overall medical management of these complex patients. Other services include physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation (SLP), as well as other subacute interventions such as hemodialysis, TPN, and wound management.

We focus on the whole patient, utilizing a skilled medical & rehabilitation team of professionals who work together with the patient and family to provide the highest level of quality, individualized patient care.

Our approach includes an overall assessment and are addressed progressively; while the quality of life and the spiritual-psycho-social component of the individual are also considered priorities. We believe good communication is essential for a good outcome, and we utilize the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Conference along with our admissions specialists & case managers to assure that all patient and family questions and concerns are answered completely and promptly.
