Description White Plains Hospital is a member of the Montefiore Health System, serving as its tertiary hub of advanced care in the Hudson Valley.

The Hospital is a 292-bed not-for-profit organization, including the Center for Cancer Care, William & Sylvia Silberstein Neonatal & Maternity Center, Ruth and Jerome A. Siegel Stroke Center and Center for Orthopaedic & Spine Surgery. Its Emergency Department gets nearly 60,000 visits a year. White Plains Hospital performs lifesaving emergency and elective angioplasty in its Joan and Alan Herfort, MD, and Marie Promuto cardiac catheterization laboratories. It has outpatient and multi-specialty facilities across Westchester.

The Hospital, a Magnet® designated facility, is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and is recognized as a Top Performer for Key Quality Measures®.
