Mission Neighborhood House partners with diverse individuals and families to build community and achieve their goals for health, education and self-sufficiency.
Description Founded in 1906, Neighborhood House is one of the oldest social service agencies in the Puget Sound region. In response to a growing low-income community in 1941, we began providing self-sufficiency and support services for families moving to Yesler Terrace. In 1959, we became an independent nonprofit.

Today, we continue to provide these services to address the needs of entire families, with a focus on low-income community members, public housing residents, immigrants and refugees. We serve over 12,000 people annually through our major program areas of early learning, youth education, family and social services, employment and adult education, health, and housing stability.
