We became contractors because we worked with contractors…and saw what was missing. After years of experience as engineers and consultants, we were frustrated by the lack of professionalism and lax standards of the contractors we worked with, and we knew we could do better.

Since the firm’s inception in 1999, founders Hirad Emadi, P.E., and John R. White have built ICS on the core principles of stringent internal standards, highest quality service, and value-added solutions. With professional backgrounds in environmental engineering and remedial and general construction, ICS’ leadership team offers a blend of technical expertise and practical experience that has driven the development of this uniquely effective organization.

Today, ICS is an environmental and specialty civil engineering contractor with hazardous waste and demolition endorsements (764815 A-HAZ-C21). We serve the entire state of California out of offices in Orange County and Contra Costa County and most recently the state of Washington out of our office in King County.

ICS provides soil and groundwater remediation, wastewater treatment, sensitive habitat and waterway restoration, and decommissioning and demolition services. Our project teams are comprised of former engineers and environmental scientists working alongside experienced superintendents, operators and technicians.
