Savaria helps folks with limited mobility get their groove back. Operating through subsidiary Savaria Concord Lifts, the company makes and distributes in-home mobility products, primarily wheelchair platform lifts, stair lifts, and residential and commercial elevators. Products are compactly designed, allowing integration into existing home layouts. Mobility products account for about 85% of sales. The company's Van-Action subsidiary, which customizes automobiles for the disabled, contributes about 15% of sales. Savaria sells its wares through a network of North American retailers and European distributors; 60% of sales are outside Canada. Its three facilities operate in Ontario, Quebec, and China.
