Parks Youth Ranch started from a dream in the early 2000s and became a reality when the property in rural Richmond, Texas was purchased in 2009. Since we opened our doors in 2011 our mission has been to provide emergency shelter, counseling and life changing services to at-risk and homeless youth. The majority of the residents are victims of emotional and physical trauma. They have been abused and neglected by their families and are in need of a safe, supportive, and stable environment. Our shelter is home to 20 residents and we provide them with all their basic needs; their own bed, age appropriate and properly fitting clothing, food, educational support and counseling.
