Agape empowers and supports underserved families within its community to discover and embrace their full potential. Agape achieves this mission by providing academic support and family services focusing on character development, academic achievement, reading proficiency by third grade, successful high school graduation and post-graduation placement.
Through our In-school and After-school programs, we provide youth enrichment programming for 200 economically disadvantaged youth and families throughout the Bolton Road Corridor of Northwest Atlanta, served by our four partners Atlanta Public Schools—E. Rivers Elementary School, Bolton Academy, Sutton Middle School and North Atlanta High School. Agape’s current youth population ranges in age from 5-18, with 55% male students and 45% female students. Our students are 90% Latino and 10% African American, and 100% of participating students qualify for free or reduced priced lunch at school.
