Description Mid-Am Building Supply is a wholesale distributor of building materials in Middle America. The company sells windows, doors, siding, roofing materials, cabinets, and other interior supplies from National Gypsum, Owens Corning, Schlage, and Bostitch, among other manufacturers. It also operates four door-fabrication warehouses, offers tool repair, and provides estimates for cabinet and window installation. Mid-Am's trucks deliver the goods to lumber dealers through about a half dozen locations in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. The third-generation family-owned business was founded in 1967 by Joe and Hildegarde Knaebel.

Fast forward 56 years and three generations of Knaebel family involved in/or running the business, we continue to partner with leading manufacturers to stock a broad range of market leading products. Since its inception, Mid-Am Building Supply has shown its fortitude with the addition of three locations, over 300 associates, and more than 680,000 sq. ft of warehouse space.

Mid-Am Building Supply, a subsidiary of ADENTRA, is a specialty millwork and premier wholesale building product distributor with four warehouses in four states; delivering products across a ten state radius throughout the Midwest. Our strategic locations offer easy access to our inventory of roofing, siding, insulation, decking and railing, windows, fasteners, cabinets, millwork, locks, interior and exterior door products and more.
