Autocartel was founded by co-owners Scott Schaefer and Steve Plowman in 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska. They both had a vision of being able to showcase vehicles in the highest fashion, all while creating a process that allows efficiency in volume production. They were able to utilize their keen eye for photography and knowledge of the car industry to put together a company that has exceeded so many expectations. Due to the sheer size of the Texas Automotive marketplace, Steve moved down to DFW, Texas shortly after to create a new home for Autocartel. He was able to recruit Jordan Wall who is now the Director of Operations. All together, they have assembled a team of 50+ employees that are all working together harmoniously to become the largest privately owned vehicle photography company in Texas. Because of this successful team building formula that has given Autocartel such a strong reputation in the business, we are growing at a an incredible rate of expansion and have lots of need for photographers and hard workers.
