Mission To be a trusted support when life gets tough. All people. Any time. Every time.
Description Foundation 2 Crisis Services was founded in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1970 as a volunteer crisis phone line. Since then, we have grown to become a nonprofit of more than 150 full and part-time employees providing 24/7 crisis services across Iowa. We have physical locations in Cedar Rapids, Davenport and Dubuque. Additionally, some team members work remotely.
We run a variety of 24/7 mental health and crisis response programs. Our in-person services extend to more than ten Iowa counties.
Services include: - 24/7 phone, text, chat and in-person support services. - Year-round emergency youth services for youth ages 11-17. - Support for young people aging out of foster care. - Community and workplace mental health and suicide prevention trainings. - Community services to help stop cycles of violence.
As an employer, we focus on providing a forward-thinking, employee-centered, supportive workplace environment. We prioritize mental health, a positive work/home balance, and flexible opportunities to help you feel comfortable in your role. Benefits include generous time off, mental health days, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, flexible benefit dollars, pet insurance and more. Regular, full-time employees receive a fixed amount of benefit dollars per month that can be used for health insurance plans or paid as taxable income.
