Description It's not only about racecars in Indianapolis. The Indiana Symphony Society funds and operates the Indianapolis symphony, one of about 20 full-time symphonies in the US. The symphony plays about 200 concerts every year under the artistic leadership of music director Mario Venzago and pops conductor Jack Everly. In addition to performances at its home Hilbert Circle Theatre, the symphony plays each summer at the Marsh Symphony on the Prairie, on a twice weekly radio show, and to audiences across the US and in Europe. The Indiana Symphony Society was founded in 1930.
