ICC Industries tries to make the world look brighter, smell better, and live healthier. The privately held group trades basic and specialty chemicals globally. Operating through a number of subsidiaries, ICC Industries makes chemicals (Dover Chemical), plastic sheets (Primex), colorants and flame retardants (O'Neil Color), and pharmaceutical products. It also distributes nutritional supplements and food ingredients. Main subsidiary ICC Chemical is among the largest distributors in the US and maintains trading and marketing offices worldwide. ICC Industries also holds a 37% stake in Israeli flavors company Frutarom. The founding Farber family, including chairman John Farber, owns ICC.
