Mission To transition the world to environmentally safe fire protection.
We developed a fire protection system that turned out to be a solution for a much bigger environmental problem than we knew of when founding the company in 2013.
A doctor who discovers a breakthrough life-saving treatment will have an obvious moral responsibility to ensure that treatment becomes available to as many patients as possible.
We, as Safespill, now have a moral responsibility to replace as many AFFF systems as possible. Hereby, we will prevent pollution that causes cancer, birth defects, and many other health-destroying illnesses in communities like the ones many of us grew up in.
Once we are done replacing AFFF, we will have indirectly saved many lives and have made a contribution to a world we can truly be proud of.
Description Foam fire suppression systems have been widely used in military bases and chemical plants. This foam has PFAS chemicals, aka “forever chemicals,” that has created a tremendous amount of pollution and has indirectly killed many people, much as asbestos and lead paint did decades ago. The Safespill system is one of the few alternatives to firefighting foam.
Safespill is close to a tipping point of market adoption of our system for commercial and military aircraft hangars and IBC storage units and is expecting significant demand in the next 9-18 months.
𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘:
• Self-improvement: We look for someone who wants to join an agile, laser-focused team that adjusts quickly to changing priorities and challenges. Each team member is tasked with a lot of responsibilities and works within a fast-paced environment, always focused on self-improvement to increase their set of skills. • High-quality: We are sticklers for high quality as we have our own machinery to manufacture our products and a fire testing facility, where we ensure each product meets the highest of standards. • Having fun: Our facility is equipped with a self-built bar for Friday afternoon drinks and a pool table in the break room. We also have a fully functional CrossFit gym, as well as an affiliate of the sport. To top it off, we have a very experienced coach who runs classes three times a week.
