3d Signals opens a doorway to a new age, enabling digital transformation & connectivity to boost productivity of machinery and workforce alike. We introduce a common digital language, which is the basis for all current and future industry 4.0 applications.
Our amazingly simple, non-intrusive, quick 0 to 1 procedure, takes the factory to a whole new level in terms of visibility, transparency, response-ability, efficiency, and productivity. 3d Signals clarifies the entire production ecosystem, enabling improved productivity and lower operating costs.
But we were not always in this business. When 3d SIgnals was established in 2015 it focused on advanced Industry 4.0 technologies like AI and Machine Learning to prevent machine downtime through predictive maintenance.
After 3 years and 20 pilots running all over the world, we realized that most machines in the factories we worked with, were not even network connected. In a way, we were trying to teach our customers to run before they could walk.
In 2018, following a pivotal meeting with our Frankfurt-based customer, SAMSON AG, we came to the realization that we need to start with the foundation, and offer manufacturers a plug & play solution for factory digitalization, in order to provide instant visibility and business intelligence, which can be immediately translated into valuable and actionable insights.
Thus began the second chapter of our story.
