Description To know where we're going, it's important to know where we've been. The range of specialisms and depth of coverage that Evolve Talent provides today has only been possible through the hard work put in since our foundation in 2004. Here's how we did it.
Phase One: Design & Construct Established in 2004 in Sydney, Design & Construct focused on Architecture, Building & Construction, Engineering, Property and Trades & Labour. From humble beginnings, Design & Construct grew to over 30 staff across five offices (including the UK) inside four years.
Phase Two: Building Careers Australia In 2018, Design & Construct became Building Careers Australia (BCA). The change brought a new strategic direction, which included a diversification of services, reviewing existing markets and, ultimately, a significant investment in the West Coast mining sector.
Phase Three: Evolve Talent In late 2020, BCA formally became Evolve Talent. The rebrand reflects our new leaderships drive to ‘never stand still’ and to remain relevant to our ever expanding client base, and their constantly developing talent requirements. 2020 saw some significant leadership and industry expertise join the business in the form of Chris McVean and Jamie Butterworth, who’s prior careers have been spent across the big corporate recruiters Adecco, Programmed and Manpower Group, joining Chris Tipper as the owners of the Evolve journey.
This injection of experience and networks have been the catalyst for Evolve Talents growth across the Healthcare and Technology industries to complement the already established Construction and Resources verticals, with over 45 people across the country now supporting Australia's key growth markets. The world is now shifting at a significant pace, and to be successful, companies and individuals alike must evolve if they are to continue to thrive in today's environment. Evolve Talent is the perfect embodiment of this.
