Last night the FCA was the joint winner of the Employer of the Year Award at the Women in Finance Awards with RBS. The award came following our submission which highlighted our ‘Building an Inclusive Culture’ campaign and the Positive Action Framework, the establishment of our gender targets and the existing representation of women on our Board, ExCo, SLT and manager population. The inclusive culture engagement sessions, SLT role modelling, changes to our recruitment processes, mentoring programmes, our support for parents and carers and the tireless work of the Network Groups was also called out....Show more

Latest analysis from our Financial Lives survey puts the spotlight on the financial situation of people across the UK and highlights where in the UK people may be more vulnerable http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQp54. Those in rural areas say they have more difficulty getting to a bank branch and are less likely to use mobile banking but are more likely to be satisfied with their overall financial circumstances. By contrast, people living in urban areas are less satisfied with their overall financial position, are more likely to use high-cost loans and, on average, have more unsecured debt.
