Cornerstone Capital Bank has a rich history rooted in two distinct origins: a national mortgage lender and a local Texas bank. Originally founded as Cornerstone Home Lending in 1988, with just three team members in a small Houston office, Cornerstone has built a reputation as a standout national home lender, earning the trust and loyalty of thousands of families who return year after year to us.
In October 2022, Cornerstone merged with Roscoe Bank, creating Cornerstone Capital Bank, a major milestone resulting in one of the highest-capitalized new banks in Texas history.
