At Urban Initiatives, we empower Chicago's youth to become community leaders through academic success, healthy living, and social-emotional learning. 17,000 students in 57 schools across Chicago experience the benefits of Urban Initiatives’ programs every day. Of the children we serve, 92% come from families in underserved communities. We believe building a brighter future for Chicago’s youth is a team effort and lasting relationships are key to our success.
