Mission Exceptional students can do exceptional things. At Austin Centers for Exceptional Students, our programs are designed to support students as they work to overcome their challenges, achieve their goals, and be the best they can be.

Description Austin Centers is a multifaceted special education program, designed specifically for students with emotional disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, specific learning disabilities or other educational challenges. Austin Centers currently serves over a thousand students per year from more than 100 school districts and charter schools on all our campuses.

Since 1995, Austin Centers has offered special education services for students from ages 5-22. As a state-certified special education school, we create a learning environment that encourages positive behavior, sets clear expectations, and helps each student overcome their unique academic and personal struggles.

From the beginning, our mission has been to provide a world-class education for every student, and to help them discover and reach their fullest potential. For us, there is no greater success than watching a child progress, thrive, and learn to succeed in the classroom and beyond. Our students do amazing things because they are supported by the most amazing Teachers and Staff!

We exist to make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable children in our community.

Austin Centers is a multifaceted special education program, designed specifically for students with emotional disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, specific learning disabilities or other educational challenges. We don't shy away from any student or any challenge, and we relentlessly strive to help all students be successful in their communities and households. Our goal is to help them achieve their highest potential through effective behavior intervention that allows them to reintegrate back into their home classrooms and skills development that will help them be successful after graduation.

We proudly serve over a thousand students per year from more than 100 school districts and charter schools across Arizona and in Colorado!
