Mission Our goal is to create one of the UK‘s most inclusive organisations – where talented people can bring the best of themselves, to do their best work, every day, for the benefit of good causes.
Description Allwyn is a leading global lottery operator. We operate lotteries in the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Austria – and the UK, from February 2024. Through our 64,000 points of sale and digital platforms, we serve a market of over 79 million, bringing in annual sales of over €17bn. We believe that lotteries should be a unifying force for society. Our focus is on growing lotteries to power good and make a real difference to local communities – and we’re very successful at it, too. In the Czech Republic, for example, we have grown the lottery by 40% and increased returns to good causes and the government by 475% since beginning our partnership in 2012.
We’re now excited to start a new chapter of our success story. Allwyn UK has been selected by the Gambling Commission as the Preferred Applicant to be the operator of the National Lottery for the Fourth Licence, starting on 1 February 2024.
We have an ambitious vision for the UK’s National Lottery. Over the next year we’ll be building a team of experts to deliver a fresh look and feel for the lottery, to drive growth, and to create a better society. This fast-paced, delivery-focused project team will be made up of talented people from a variety of disciplines and best-in-class partner organisations to prepare for the scale of this transformation, supported by experienced colleagues at Allwyn UK.
At the heart of our strategy is people. Through shared values, expertise, and commitment, we will create change, and build a better world.
We can’t wait to get started on this journey and really power change for the greater good.
Will you join us?
Mission: Our goal is to create one of the UK’s most inclusive organisations – where people can bring the best of themselves, to do their best work, every day, for the benefit of good causes.
While the main contribution of the National Lottery to society is through the funds to good causes, at Allwyn UK we put our purpose and values at the heart of everything we do.
That’s why we have committed to an ambitious Social Value strategy, which is woven into the way we do business. We believe that lotteries must serve everyone, not just those who play. So whether as an employee, a supplier, a retailer or any of the stakeholders that we interact with, we will be powering good across the UK.
