Code Club Snapshot
Our mission is to give children the chance to learn to code, where ever they may be.
Code Club is a not for profit organisation set up to teach children to code. We do this in three ways (so far!). Firstly we created a nationwide network of after-school coding clubs for children (www.CodeClub.org.uk); there are over 2000 clubs across the country and we’re aiming for 5000. Then we opened Code Club up to countries from all around the world: there are 200 clubs in over 50 countries but we’re aiming higher still (www.CodeClubWorld.org). This year we launched Code Club Pro, which trains teachers to deliver the new computing curriculum (www.codeclubpro.org).
