    Pros

The children you grow to care about helping.

    Cons

They want high expectations with less pay, looking away for the hard work you put into the clients and there families. They'll terminate you within your 3 month probation, and will not acknowledge that your trying to balance visiting clients even after work hours but they will not pay you overtime. You have to write 10 progress notes a week and be done writing your notes within 24 hrs of that day. Then they're including morning meetings that drag wasting your time to complete your own work. The team leaders are passive aggressive even when you are right and have to correct them yourselves. Your team leader will give you all the recognition in the world but sits there quiet while they terminate you and not even stick up for your hard work. I am sadden for the family connections I put forward these past two months helping to get where they are now, and Easter Seals will just pull you aside and terminate you cause they feel its not enough to their overly ridiculous expectations of using their employees. It makes sense why they have a high turnover rate of workers. I'm upset cause I did like my job for the families I cared about but I don't like how they treated us.

    Pros

Truly love getting to work for their families. All are very gracious and flexible with work schedules! Amazing pay, especially when there are two disabled kids in the fmaily!

    Cons

Wish more systems could be transfer to digital instead of needing to print and take pictures of everything. Other chapters do so but the DMV chapter is still mostly printed and signed documents

    Pros

I have been with Easterseals for 4 years. I have never worked for an agency that is as supportive and fair as this one. They value their employees and do all that they can to make your experience with them a positive, fulfilling one.

    Cons

Honestly, there are no cons as far as I am concerned. The work is stressful but employees are supported and encouraged to manage self care.

    Pros

Flexible working hours, opportunity to work remotely during pandemic, making a difference, helping individuals and their families

    Cons

Low salary and low morale. Poor training, I pretty much taught myself the role and took it day by day keeping my fingers crossed that I did everything right. Over time I felt complacent in the position, and lost any drive to do the job because of little support.
