Pros

The environment is great. Family feel even though we work remotely. Get to work from home and set our own schedule really. If we cant work one day our manager lets us make up the hours on another day.

Cons

The pay. Pay is lacking. Unfortunately $10 an hour is not cutting it when the average tech support representative makes about $15 an hour, remotely. You dont get paid for the time in the beginning of your shift when you start your computer and wait for systems to load. While other companies pay you during that time if you were to walk into a call center and start your systems and even remote call centers.

Pros

When it's good, it's really good! On slow weeks where you barely get any calls it's like getting free money. you can watch netflix, do homework etc.... You have a lot of freedom to create your schedule, and managers are very understanding when you have a school conflict. It's super easy to get time off. Most of the staff are super friendly, they are almost like a family.

Cons

The pay sucks. There is a fairly high learning curve, considering what you must do and the money you are compensated for it. The worst part is doing appointments and having to fix internet/ cable issues when something happens. If you are responsible for multiple sites, you will be forced to travel between each site. When you don't have car..... that can suck, especially in the winter!
