Alpha Marketing Strategies Response
7yThanks for taking the time to write a review! Unfortunately, it has been brought to our attention that this particular review was written by a candidate who was not offered a position with our company. Regardless, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a couple points brought up here.
Let’s begin some definitions.
Ponzi Scheme: a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors.
Marketing: the action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising.
1. We work with several different clients, our main one being Vivint. In 2012, The Blackstone Group acquired Vivint for more than $2 billion. As of March 2018, Vivint had over 1.3 million customers in the U.S. and Canada. It was listed among Fast Company's World's 50 Most Innovative Companies in 2017. I think it’s clear that Vivint is not a “nonexistent enterprise”, contradicting a major premise of your “ponzi scheme” claim.
2. We require absolutely zero investment or financial commitment from our employees. We work with real, live potential customers that are referred to us by the clients (like Vivint), thus refuting the second major premise of a “ponzi scheme”.
3. We promote and sell security systems, smart home systems, and tv subscriptions. We do this by meeting with a customer face-to-face and walking them through the sales process. We have a number of campaigns, from residential to business to business to retail-based, however we’ve found residential to be the most effective in the Sacramento market. This is the definition of marketing.
Thank you for coming to our Ted Talk. Hopefully you don’t spend your time writing negative false reviews for every company you are not offered a position with, this seems like a massive waste of time.
